Steve Foxley

Steve joined the AMRC in 2020 and is responsible for leading the Management Board to develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing industrial partners; engaging with government to identify opportunities for further strategic development; and establishing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure regional development and investment.

Prior to joining the AMRC, Steve was a member of the Executive Management Board of Siemens plc and led the Siemens Building Technologies Division. Steve has held a number of senior roles within Siemens in the UK, Austria and China . His career has been focussed within the manufacturing sector, as Director of Industry Services delivering automation & digital solutions to manufacturing customers across the UK and Ireland.

He is passionate about materials and supports a number of UK wide initiatives in support of materials for Manufacturing.

Steve joined Siemens in 1999 after obtaining a MEng in mechanical engineering from Bristol University and obtained his MBA from Cranfield University in 2006.

Steve is married with two sons and lives in Cheshire.
