As a strategic research and innovation hub for industry, we help commercialise the UK’s most advanced manufacturing ideas, supporting the UK’s national priorities such as the net zero transition.

Independent evaluation
An independent retrospective evaluation of our performance from 2011 to 2016 found that “the HVM Catapult has effectively supported firms to ‘bridge the gap’ between research and commercial exploitation”. It concluded that the overall impact of our work was likely to be “very substantial”.
