Chief Executive Officer, CPI
Frank is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Director having spent his industrial career with UK engineering and project management companies delivering services to the process industries. He has 20 years of experience of technology development and deployment in the gas processing and nuclear-decommissioning sectors. He has worked in project delivery and business management roles in the UK, North America and the Middle East.
Frank joined CPI in 2015 as Operations Director and has overseen the company’s growth including the build and launch of the National Biologics Manufacturing Centre in Darlington, the National Formulation Centre in Sedgefield, and the Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre under construction in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Frank became CEO of CPI in 2020.
Frank has represented industrial interests on the Board of the Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA), including serving a term as President in 2014. He is also a member of the CBI North East Regional Council. He has an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College and an MSc in Engineering Project Management from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). Prior to his industrial career, he held a commission in the British Army.
