Chief Finance and Operations Officer, High Value Manufacturing Catapult
Alison Berry joined HVM Catapult as Chief Finance and Operations Officer following more than 20 years working in industry. She was previously Operational Chief Finance Officer at Britishvolt and has supported many SME businesses in the Finance Director capacity. This includes Frog Bikes, who brought their manufacturing facility to the UK and Hawk-Eye Innovations as they were brought into the Sony Group.
Alison’s early industry experience was with Vodafone in Australia as part of the Regional Governance and in the UK as part of the Investor Relations team, at a time when phones were changing from something you used to talk to today’s data-based proposition.
She qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young working in the auditing and financial modelling functions before moving to Industry. She holds an honours degree in Economics with International Trade from the University of Nottingham and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wale (ICAEW).
