The pioneering Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry has teamed up with international visual communications software specialist SharpCloud Software.
SharpCloud, which has joined the MTC as a member, produces cutting edge software which helps companies communicate complex business processes in a simple visual way, using PCs, iPads or mobile devices.
The company has just launched its products in the United States, hosting successful seminars in Houston and New York.
SharpCloud offers businesses a new way of communicating visually and has emerged as a first-mover in the visual business intelligence arena. The company has captured the imaginations of customers who want to drive their businesses forward through effective engagement with their clients.
The London-based company has gone from strength to strength since it was established in 2012 and its customer base now includes the US Government, GSK, HP, ConnocoPhillips, Royal Mail, Inmarsat, the Technology Strategy Board, KTNs, RSSB, DNV and Fujitsu.
SharpCloud CEO Sarim Khan, said, “We wanted to provide business executives and their teams with a simple, visual way to communicate their often complex business processes. Our product combines all the useful elements of data reporting, presentation and collaboration in a live application on PC and iPad. This is particularly useful for communicating live reporting on strategic project portfolios, roadmaps and strategy to users, and drilling down to the finer detail when it’s needed. It increases engagement and promotes a culture of collaboration.”
He added, “We are really excited to be working with the Manufacturing Technology Centre and we are looking forward to creating SharpCloud stories to enable collaboration between the MTC and its members.”
SharpCloud’s uses are not limited to communicating complex business processes. It has also proved a useful tool for customers using the software to promote the benefits of sharing data driven information on executive dashboards, virtual workshops, foyer and conference presentations and even company training.
MTC chief executive Clive Hickman said, “We are proud to welcome SharpCloud as members of the MTC. They share our vision and enthusiasm for investing in innovative solutions. SharpCloud challenge convention and I look forward to what we can achieve together.”
