Dr Anna Floyer-Lea joined HMV Catapult in April 2026 as a Non-Executive Director. She is an experienced board member, finance executive, and investment professional specialising in finance, governance and innovation. Anna also sits on the board of Octric Semiconductors Ltd where she chairs the audit and risk committee.
Anna was previously CFO of BP Ventures and Launchpad, where she invested over £500m in high tech companies to advance sustainability and accelerate the green energy transition. She has also held senior roles at HMRC and HM Treasury where she focussed on research and innovation policy supporting companies developing and commercialising intellectual property in the UK. Anna is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford.
