Warwick’s Hyperloop Team qualifies to TOP 50 SpaceX Hyperloop teams

WMG are proud to announce that Warwick’s Hyperloop Team has officially qualified to TOP 50 SpaceX Hyperloop Teams out of 500 applicants and become the first English Hyperloop Team

WMG are proud to announce that Warwick’s Hyperloop Team has officially qualified to TOP 50 SpaceX Hyperloop Teams out of 500 applicants and become the first English Hyperloop Team. The team consists of more than 65 students from WMG. The students designed a 200kW-powered Hyperloop pod that accelerates in 14 seconds to 500km/h in low-pressured SpaceX Tubes. They are currently working on the final design package report due on the 12th January 2019.

In case of proceeding to the next round, they start production/assembly from February 2019 to complete a high-speed run at SpaceX Hyperloop System in California, summer 2019. Team’s contact details: www.warwickhyperloop.com
