Bob Gilbert, Chairman of the HVM Catapult and the Intellectural Property Office, was awarded a CBE in the 2017 New Year’s Honours for services to the legal profession and the economy.
Bob Gilbert, Chairman of the HVM Catapult and the Intellectural Property Office, was awarded a CBE in the 2017 New Year’s Honours for services to the legal profession and the economy.
Bob is a corporate lawyer who, for 30 years until his retirement from private practice, was a partner and latterly Deputy Senior Partner of Wragge & Co, now Gowling WLG, the International Law Firm.
His in-depth knowledge of IP issues and his international experience of commercial and industrial enterprises helps him make invaluable contributions as Chairman of both the Intellectual Property Office, and the High Value Manufacturing Catapult.
